KynnysKINO is a film festival for everyone who is interested in the diversity and humanity of life. Disability and people starring add color to the films of the festival. The theme of this KynnysKINO, held now for the seventh time, is Friends and Enemies: who is a friend, who is an enemy, and where do these concepts come from. The 4-days-long festival consists of films from Finland, Norway, Russia, Poland, Australia, USA and so on. KynnysKINO is opened by the first Zambian full-length film, Suwi. The film deals with disability, women’s position and the HIV- and AIDS-situation in Zambia. The film has its Finland’s premiere in KynnysKINO on Thursday the 23^rd of April. The film’s director and scriptwriter, Catherine Kaseketi, is also coming to see the film.
