The Key of G (USA, 59 min)

In this intimate document, the 22-year-old disabled Gannet moves out from his mother’s to a commune in San Francisco with three musical artists, who become his caretakers. Without his mother’s tenacity, Garret would’ve been in grave danger of isolation to a facility. Mother, however, wants to find alternatives for an official caretaking relationship, and finds the home of three musicians who take Garret in, not only as a dependant, but as a roommate and a friend.

Common joys and problems of cohabiting are lived through in the commune, which are emphasized by Gannet being special. Even through hardships, Gannet’s world keeps on widening and relationships getting deeper.
